Margrét received her diploma from Tannsmíðaskóli Íslands in 2001. She began work in Bergamo Italy in 2002 and then joined the company in 2003. In the year 2005-2006 she was on the board of directors for the Icelandic Dental technician membership (Tannsmíðafélag Íslands).
